Papa Don Schroeder, Pensacola radio icon, died this week. If you were around in the 60s you would remember him as perhaps the most popular Top 40 DJ in town ... on WBSR, and later WNVY. Later he owned 790 AM WPNN (formerly WPFA). Schroeder also produced some hit records.
