Donald Trumps TV attack ads spending

I'm trying to stay focused on the historical impact of Trump's campaign,

That's hard to assess while the campaign is going. I'm expecting they will change their strategy going forward. The candidate may not be 100% aboard, but someone, either the party or the various PACs, will be buying media ads as we get closer to 11/8. I'm pretty sure of it, based on what I heard after the debate.

If you are watching local Newscasts in San Francisco and Sacramento this person appears in all the attack ads here.

All the ads I see (and they're pretty vicious) are not from either the Trump campaign or the RNC. They're coming from various PACs and they're all just anti-Clinton. Plus there's another series from the NRA. So there's a lot of money out there. And while the campaign seems focused on a few states, these ads seem to be running everywhere.

http://www.latimes.com/politics/ess...s-in-proposition-56-1475799269-htmlstory.html. Tom Steyer Spends more on Political Ads in California if your wondering who he is he's the California version of the Koch Brothers. If you are watching local Newscasts in San Francisco and Sacramento this person appears in all the attack ads here.

There is no chance that Trump is going to will California, which has been a reliably blue state for a long time now - If Steyer is actually spending money on Trump attack ads here, he should spend his money elsewhere where it might make a difference - Ohio, Colorado, Florida, etc.

Here in Central AZ we are seeing Clinton attack ads on Trump and attack ads from both Maricopa candidates for sheriff (Joe Arpaio is the current Maricopa County sheriff). Next door in Pinal County there is a vicious attack ad battle upon the current sheriff Paul Babeu who is running for Congress.

Then the next big ad blitz is the Prop 205 battle (legalization of recreational marijuana).

Steyer is basically spending his superpac dollars on State propositions, State congressional seats, City propositions for Oakland and San Francisco and National congressional seats.

In all of Steyer produced ads he talks about which members of National and State congressional members back his propositions and which city and county councils/boards of supervisor support his propositions, from soda tax, tobacco sales tax to Climate change policies for California.

Note Your state may have their version of the Koch Brothers and they are a major contributor to ad spending on TV, from Network O&O's, Sinclair, Hearst, Tenga, Cox, Media General, Nexstar, Raycom and Tribune may be complaining that Trump isn't spending enough on political ads placed between newscasts but we have to wait what the results will say about Superpac groups like Koch brothers and Steyer spent on ads and are the TV station groups out of the deficit in their quarterly earnings.

In the debate, Trump said he was against taking money from other places. He's refused input from the party, and it's possible he's refusing money from them as well.

The party is probably focusing their money on local and Congressional races.

I was in North Carolina for a couple of days (a swing state unlike mine of Tennessee). Almost every break had a Hillary ad. I finally saw one lone Trump ad at 12:30am

Given that Fox News is the 800 lb. gorilla in conservative news, it's hard to see how a Trump Network would gain much traction. It would be very expensive to get off the ground, unless they do a Glenn Beck style subscription internet model only, and from what I've read, that hasn't worked out so well for Beck.

Though Trump will certainly retain a lot of his most rabid supporters, most everybody else will fade away from his influence. I would think that even Tea Party types would prefer somebody more stable, and with much less baggage. Look for another Reagan type - but even more conservative - to emerge before 2020. Trumps' brand scares too many people.
