Donna Douglas dead at 81: actress on 'Beverly Hillbillies'

She was 29 when the Hillbillies started and 38 when the show stopped production (it's never gone off the air), although the character was supposed to be a teenager.

She had a small role as Tony Randall's secretary in "Love Come Back," which was written by Hillbillies creator Paul Henning.

Max Baer, Jr. ("Jethro") is now the last surviving regular cast member.

However, Buddy Ebsen was the longest living (so far) - he made it to 95.

I remembered her playing Elly in a segment of "The Super Mario Bros. Super Show" titled "Mario Hillbillies" seconds after learning of her death and began using a search engine in pursuit of any possible references to that segment posted in response to her death (I had only found past references to her, the show, and the segment made prior to the news of her death along with references to the former governor of the state of New York named Mario Cuomo from reports about his death yesterday).
