Donna Summer

She was a singer for all seasons, from "Spring Affair" to "Winter Melody"! She proved that "She Works Hard for the Money" and that "Bad Girls" are "Hot Stuff"! But unfortunately on May 17th, 2012 her strong voice was silenced. To millions, she sounded so good "On the Radio", so let's "Dim All the Lights" and get ready for that special "Last Dance"! RIP, Donna Summer.

It was an honor to play her songs!

Mush to my amazement, she lived a mile away from me; had lived there for several years. Never crossed paths at the Publix, etc.

A.J. and I played many a Donna Summer tune at WAPE...
 
Ms. Summer's (fully clothed) cover picture on Penthouse some years back was one of the sexiest magazine covers I've ever seen. Beauty, talent and a healthy dose of smarts...quite a package!
