If I checked the other cities/stations, I'm sure I'd find similar situations where rimshots are claimed to reach the "big cities". Such is the publicity machine when a new syndicated show rolls out.MarcB said:pjc1961 said:Boston
*scoffs* I checked the site. It's an FM Radio station in Keene, New Hampshire. It can not be picked up in Boston. I've been to Keene. You can't get any of the Boston FMers in Keene. Nice try.

DToTheJ said:Wow, this ranks right up there with Air America signing up with a station in Stroudsburg, PA and anointing it as their "Philadelphia affiliate..."
PTBoardOp94 said:There is no Indianapolis, San Fransisco, Atlanta, Chicago, or Detroit affiliate either, by the definition of MarcB.
So let's review: the show is either not cleared at all in the top 20 markets, or is on a signal
Check out in particular the Denver and Atlanta affilates. The Denver station is a class C (graveyard) AM closer to the New Mexico border than to Denver. The Atlanta station is a class A FM derated to 370 watts located in the tri-state area between TN, GA, and SC. There's no way in heck either of these stations is being heard in the metro areas of their markets.
