Remember when Gary Edens pulled the plug on KQYT and moved KOY-AM to 95.5? At the time he said he was taking a great product and exposing it to more listeners on the FM band. That was 20 years ago, and now The Men In Secret Underwear may be doing the exact same thing by taking a geriatric AM station and moving it to FM. Edens quickly learned that even Tim Hattrick paired with Bill Heywood couldn't make the station sound any younger or relevant. KOY-FM became Y95 and KOY-AM died a slow death on AM (including becoming a sports parking lot on the way to the cemetary!). Is it deja vu all over again for TMISU with ancient on air personalities and features? Just because KT'R is on FM, doesn't mean more or younger persons will listen. And as Nurse Jeff reminds me, Gary Edens didn't have to pay $70+m for his FM
