TAKE IT FROM ME in your latest post you said....
I never said Phillips didn't work hard
From your July 2006 post
The important thing is giving them a forum to speak and then checking what they say sure let’s check what they say.....
So lets do that.....
From your July 2006 post
Do you think Kent is even in the building after 10am (he probably voicetracks the last hour)Why should they work hard...they have big contracts and can ride out the next couple of years. They have no incentive to want it
In May 2006 re:Star
Their format, KPLZ, is dead and as this board points out the airstaff is ready for retirement, especially the PD. Marcus D at KBKS will rip into STAR and KUBE, plus pick up the KLSY old listeners. KQMV and JACK will battle for the 25-54 females. STAR is putting new paint on an old house and it ain't gonna work this time. That station's nine lives may have just run out. Their PD Phillips can join Preston and Gary Nolan in Oldies or consulting. Change is comin.
August 2006 post
Lots of changes underway in the Fisher building and my bet is he, Kent, is on his way out. Big article in the Sunday paper in the Pacific Section on the area where Kent Phillips bought a station. Seems like a nice community that would love his style of radio. I am surprised at the numbers the old guys still get, especially with women, but this is a probably a sign they are headed out to pasture.
Dec 2006
KPLZ they don't process either, really stupid for a HOT/AC. Their engineer must be running the show or the PD is deaf....Kent Phillips is a morning talent and TV host, he spends little time as PD.
June 2007
KPLZ just played Big and Rich, have they lost their cowboy minds??? Saw the R@R article, seems like age has finally claimed a PD's mind. Big and Rich into Akon into Nickelback. That is suicide, not a format. That kinda radio won't fly pardner. Do you really think the same woman that listens to Rascal Flatts likes Nickleback and Gwen Stefani? Saw the big jump in women quoted in the trends, but it is like drivin by a trainwreck, do ya really want that kinda radio all the time
You did say one thing that was right. From Sept 2006
Don't believe everything you read on this site
Jan 2007 you had this to say.....
I will predict for the new year:
* WOLF beats KMPS in 2007 on the four book
* KIRO simulcasts on FM and knocks off KOMO
* JACK goes active rock to battle KNDD/KISW and combo with KZOK.
* MOVIN stays automated and is middle of the pack.
* KBKS, under Marcus D, makes some in roads on KUBE. (Mike Preston has killed his station in SF, maybe he was the problem at KBKS. This fall they picked up some ground)
May 2006 this one was a classic
Marcus D at KBKS will rip into STAR and KUBE, plus pick up the KLSY old listeners. Tell us how did that one turn out cowboy?
July 2006
see what can happen, when young talent get to shine. So will Marcus D when he takes over mornings. Uh, yeah sure!
You have made it known that you don’t work for Entercom or The Wolf but lets see what your posts reveal
Dec 2006....
WOLF does many remixes and we also speed up the music as do most stations to add tempo and pop. ( Hum from the sounds of that you sure do work there who is the “WE” you are referring to. )
Further more this post you made it known that you work for Entercom and are one of “Jerry’s Kids.....”

Entercom GM is a good guy. Let's people do their jobs and keeps corporate at bay. That is the key to a good GM. Have heard the same about Michelle at Clear Channel. Have heard very bad things about the Sandusky and Fisher GM's and the guy at Infinity is more interested in his dog than his people. ( So with that being said you have made it clear.)
