Don't These Things Come In Threes? Who's Next?

First, Barbara Billingsley joins that great sitcom in the sky...now Tom Bosley. Who's next? (And don't forget, BB was in the funniest movie ever made, "Airplane"; Leslie Nielsen isn't looking so hot these days...I have a DVD of all the "Naked Gun" episodes, and he appears as a commentator on it.)

Yes - things always come in threes...except when they don't. We tend to notice when things come in three, which confirms that pattern for us. But then we ignore it, or don't notice when things come in ones, fours, or whatever.

And Leslie Nielsen is 84, which might explain why he doesn't look "so hot," but that certainly doesn't mean he's ready to check out.

Andy Griffith? I've seen him in his latest ads and I'd be surprised if he survives long enough to not be counted in this dead pool hat trick. :-X

Probably not prudent to speculate on who is next, because it could be you.

...Nielsen lives in the Phoenix area now, and has been doing commercials for a local bank in recent years. He looked okeh to me on those things...

Haven't seen Mickey Rooney in a long time.

But I used to play this game a lot, and the third one always came from left field.

Johnny Sheffield, who played 'Boy' in the Tarzan movies died on Friday but it wasn't announced until Today. He was 79.

Barbara Billingsley, TV mom in the 50s, real last name begins with "B" and TV last name begins with "C" (Cleaver)

Tom Bosely, TV dad in the 70s, real last name begins with "B" and TV last name begins with "C" (Cunningham)

So the next should be a TV SON in the 90s, who's real name begins with a "B" and who's TV name begins with a "C"

...And there you have it! 3 done and done! Whew! I thought for a second there it was going to be Betty White!

Hey, Florence Henderson was eliminated from "Dancing With The Stars" this week - does that count? ???

There will always be 3, or 4, or 10 because people never stop dying

Thank you! This goofy "in threes" thing is always a source of amusement...to think people take it seriously.
