Don't touch my WILLIE 92.5

CBS Denver just recently flipped their Urban stick to Country.<which some will argue is a stunt until FREE FM...but it is looking more like Willie is here to stay>

WILLIE 92.5 Wide Open Country. (playing everything Country)

The station that flipped was hanging out in the Low 2share's 12+.

Who is the best candidate among the Dalla stations - JACK(probably should but would never happen)-The Oasis-KVIL ?

How would WILLIE do here ?

How about KLLI? Then they could advertise, Free Willie, 105.3

I doubt it'll happen here. In Denver KYGO had no competition. We already have 5 country signals serving all or part of the metroplex. The country audience is fairly well diluted with KSCS taking the older demos, the Wolf taking the younger ones, and the other 3 having little to no impact. CBS would be better off fixing KVIL and either fixing Oasis or taking it Active Rock or AAA.

If (and thats a BIG IF) it did happen, I could see, unfortunately, KOAI being switched to a country format. CBS is too concerned about keeping their JACK and FREE formats afloat, as I believe they are their only cash cows in the markets they're in..

Infinity's already calling dibs on this one. To be called "BILLY JACK FM" (with "One Tin Soldier" to be played in heavy rotation daily.) ha.
