I totally disagree Chris, anyone that has a different opinion other than yours creates interesting discussion. Those comments are by the listeners and if they don't like what your're playing they can always change the dial. The listeners are what make the stations what they are and if they don't listen, you have no audience, etc, etc.......................................what they basically said is that KMX is not what it used to be (as we all know) and the majical mystery tour doesn't really care!

So now your disagreeing with what i said so???? so my opinion does not matter? but your does? again this is just a case of you cant please everyone.
i have had people come to me and complain about every mornning show/radio station in this market, here is my opinion being i used to work for "THE KMX BACK IN THE DAY" it is now better.i am glad they went NO RAP!!! OH yea KMX is up dated on the music..in fact look this up if you need to, KMX plays more new music than most stations, and they rotate every 1hour 45mins, so no you wont hear the same 10-20 songs, and i also think 102.5 wesp sounds better than ever
 
Mr. (or Mrs. whichever is correct) Leech, since you claim to have worked there "back in the day", please share what position you held and the dates you were employed. It seems that I hear some light rap now on KMX?? Even before it was sold you could hear rap on KMX on Sat and Sun nights when they had Open House Party playing. Hey, is that what you did "Back in the Day", board op for OHP? But if they rotate songs every couple of hours that means the playlist has to be up to what 40 titles? That is twice as many as 20 so you are correct.

I'm very glad that you like it and suggest that you make a post on the website provided on this thread.

Stewy i like you, no it was not board op, stewy let me say the rap i am talking about is more like, "smack dat ass" more like gangsta stuff, funny on the titles remark, stewy alot of stations "CC" only have 90 songs total, thats in all, eg.. powers, recurents, ect you get what i am saying.Stewy i hear you are unemployed in the biz, if and only IF this is true one day we will talk,

Thank you Mr. Leech. If you are working for KMX now then I wish you luck amd would also suggest that you start hangin' on the programming board that is available on this site. Magic knows that you'll need help.
 
Somebody must work on the 8th floor! After reading the post on Wiregrasslive.com, and here sounds like "Mr Leech" can't take the fact that KMX is not what it use to be and can not be what it wants to be! After reading Wiregrasslive, Mr. Leech, says stuff that the average listeners would not know or possibly care about. And yes Mr. Leech as a former listener to the "Train Wreck", which is what it is, I have heard both Kelly and Squirle talk about being in bars over their week-ends. Only those who work there "knows" that they number 1--its easier on the egos that way.

I can 100%, without a doubt, tell you "He" did not write any of that,because i know "HE" really and when i say REALLY, does not Care about what people write or thinks,have you met him?the world could blow up and he would not care,he has the "attitude" of "WHATEVER!" Don't be so paranoid on who writes what, but trust me on this one, "HE" did not write ANYTHING,...GAME ON!

Besides...Relax; If anything were to happen (God forbid...(hey I typed that without hardly laughing)) to the Magic Crew jobs...They all have things to fall back on...Is Scuffed Butt Biker Wear still around? :eek:
 
Geez, sorry. If my guess as to who was responding so defensively is/was wrong then I do apologize. But paranoia isn't a problem of mine as you try to indicate. As far as playing a game with your "GAME ON" comment, are you really sure or would you like to just drop it all, your choice.
 
Poopie- why so angry? Can Mr. Leech not take of himself that he needs to go get a girl to fight his battles?

Why do you and Mr. Leech have to get so angry when someone states a opinion or fact that you disagree with? Evidently you both care so much what people think to get so defensive or is because you oversized egos got put in place?
 
There are SO many sources of public opinion delivery available today...Wiregrasslive, The Eagle's Best of, Solutions Broadcast phone surveys, Arbitron...and as many different winners in the market as there are sources. I'm just glad I downloaded 947 Best of the Wiregrass entries so that I could finally catapult Rick and Bubba to the top rank suite locally where they belong! ;D

Ready, _________106.7 KMX, or 106.7 KMX________WHAT??? NOTHING!!!!!!...BRILLANT!!!!!!!! You could change your format every week and keep the same liners. After all it's the Magic way, always be prepared for a format change. Can you remember the goo..I mean old KMX? I mean u know with their professional DJ'S, well produced liners, deep playlist & lots of variety, oh don't forget their fancy live night-time DJ's( I mean come on.... seriously, 100,000 watts live at night! Who does that? NOT YOU ;) You know when you guys came in you took KMX to a whole new level. You had big shoes to fill & I bet if you keep putting on layers of socks one day you might..probably not..but maybe you'll fill those shoes ;D So here's to u Poopiebutt and the rest of the 106.7 KMX_____whatever it is;Staff.

Best guess in the dark. There could be very large gaps between 1st, 2nd or 2nd & 3rd etc. Biggest cume will be one of the big country station. Woof and 94.3 will hold audiences the longest. Woof's P1 size will be closely followed by djr. Big surprises might be around, weevil MAY show well even though the signal won't make it to Dothan because their engineering is aboslutely the best producing the best sound as long as your in their signal but woofs very close with that exceptional quality of (we all now bow to the master jedi engineer) sound. 102.5 should be very strong in the males since there wasn't any football or nascar (broadcasts) robbing their guys. KMX should have a very good cume and will OWN some areas outside the metro but their biggest downfall may be the lack of sound quality which will be reflected by not having master jedi to keep from quicky burning out ears. No one will compete w/ KMX 12-24. Female 18-34 KMX will more than likely be 1 or 2 on the strength of the morning. The results will be widening revenue gaps in the fall not from the top guys getting more but the next level will fall which means there'll be even fewer live shifts while renovations get going.

I can (and have) be WAY off but I second bassass in wishing all good luck.

I'm hangin' it out what about you people. Care to dive as deeply?
