Double Entendre Music Circus Ad - Pulled ? ? ?

Sadly, I think Jesus weeps more for those who must endure Black rap music that portrays Black women as whores and praises violence than He weeps for someone singing Ol Man River. :mad:

Actually, Jesus is down with the Ghetto Boys. He was into the Houston raps scene from way back. In fact, I believe he once said, "Blessed are my bitches and hos, everyone else can read my Nikes".

Lucy Lu, if you are going to write stuff like that, please post your real name.

Na, then I'd have to worry about wierdos showing up at my job, but nice try.

We are off the original post.

The South Shore Music Circus shows little class in advertising

"Free Leis for the first 250 Customers"

Showboat or no Showboat it is just another example of the coarsening of American culture ... under the big tent

I ssso wish you'd put an "IMHO" at the end of every time you make a sweeping statement as if it is a matter of fact (like that one)...

The original post was incorrect factually as the ad still runs. Also, the original poster viewed the ad as a double entendre, while that may not be the case at all. A quality Hawaiian lei for example, made of fresh flowers, is a nice door prize. Maybe we need a politically correct euphemism for "lei" to stop the poster from tittering so?

As for all the bashing of the South Shore Music Circus, it has little to do with Boston radio, justified or not.

Of course it has something to do with radio because it is a radio commercial. As I posted above if The South Shore Music Circus did not want to leave the double entendre message they would have said;
"Free FLOWER lei to the first 250 Customers"
They did not and the commercial is still running.

If it were in print that would be a different story but considering the background of The Beach [Senior Citizens] formerly known as The Beach BOYS the intent had to be intentional.

It was crude and demonstrated how badly The South Shore Music Circus in Cohasset has fallen. Sorry, you don't like it but sometimes the truth hurts.
