Raise a Terrible Towel and say a Yoy.

Myron Cope is retiring after 35 seasons as the Steelers' play-by-play and color man. His voice and health problems have made him realize that it's time to bid goodbye.

I will miss him, as I'm sure a number of us here will. For good or bad, like or dislike, he is fairly synonymous with the Stillers...

Mmmm, ha! there Myron.

Sad to see him go, but anyone who listened the past couple of seasons could tell it was time. Myron is the Steelers... maybe Tunch can throw in a few "Yoys!" during the game for old times sake!

His doctors have basically told him "no". I just hope the Steelers will plan a nice celebration in his honor during one of the games. Hell, the city ought to give him some sort of proclaimation and name the broadcast booth at Heinz Field in his honor.

The Bucs need to do the same for Bob Prince at PNC. <P ID="signature">______________
