Sure wish I was back in Chicago, Banks & Company was my favorite morning show there before I left, Bonnie DeShong, Shirley Clark (who moved to LA, just before I did) and Doug Banks were the show to be reckoned with!
Thanks for sharing this with us!

You can listen to the Doug Banks program if you you like. V103 does stream, the only thing is if you're living here on the
West Coast, you'll have to hear it between 12 and 4 pm. Because he's on from 2 to 6pm Chicago time.
Also btw, Shirley Clark (Strawberry) can be heard mornings with Steve Harvey on 93.5 KDAY in Los Angeles.

I listened to the show.... It was a welcome change on V103, the vibe was fun and exciting! Great musical choice!! not the same 20 boring songs that V103 usually plays- Great mix of 90s R&B/Hip Hop, Current plays and a few Old School cuts..... I was able to listen to Doug and enjoy the music. Which is how radio SHOULD be!
The mixer was good, but a little hip/hop heavy... I suspect he was used on Dougs morning show....If he can do Old School & House too(in different mixes please), it would be great.....It would be great if he had a Chicago mixer-(JM3 would be my pick for the spot).
It would be great if he could pull the Adult Urban AC format(not only V103 but all like it) out of the "slumber party" its been in for the last 5 years.......

I'm glad to hear the show doesn't feature the same tired playlist heard on most urban ACs. Can you providle a glimpse of the playlist? I was curious about their song selection. I think Michael Baisden's show does a good job of playing some different stuff outside of your typical Luther, Anita Baker cuts. How do the shows compare? Is Doug more music-intensive?
