Doug Davidson to Replace Drew Carey on The Price is Right!

In a shocking announcement this morning, CBS and Fremantle Media have announced that Doug Davidson, who hosted the syndicated version of the game that lasted 16 weeks in 1994-95, will replace Drew Carey as host of The Price is Right next season. Davidson currently plays a role on the soap opera The Young and the Restless.

By the way... APRIL FOOLS!!!
 
What is the appeal of these inane posts year after year? Hasn't the joke gotten...you know, old by now?
 
A really good April Fools' prank needs believability. This 'prank' didn't have it.
