Doug Limerick gets Paul Harvey's Slot

Actually, here's "The Rest of the Story". Mike Huckabee is getting the morning, and possibly noon, slots. Which is a shame, because I preferred Gil's approach. But Doug and Gil doing the same thing is somewhat redundant. I don't listen at noon except Saturdays, but I'd really prefer Gil then.

Apparentl Doug didn't get the afternoon slot. Which is a shame. I liked him. I still hear him most days doing the regular ABC newscast. I would have posted this here last week, but I had forgotten where it was.

I got those two links above from Wikipedia, but the first requires registration and I think you have to pay too.

The second resulted in all but one of my Wikipedia edits on the subject being reverted for not having a reliable source. Does anyone have a RELIABLE source for the changes? Is Doug still on? He's not on my station. The edit to the article where I found the links, and those links, was also reverted.

Reverted is the same as what moderators do on sites like this one.

There was only one Paul Harvey. No matter who comes after they won't get traction. Mr Harvey is too tough to follow.

Citadel Media, the new name for "ABC Radio Networks" made the decision to give
back 10 minutes to their affiliated stations, "The Huckabee Report" is fed for 5
minutes, four times daily, at 8:30 A.M., 11:35 A.M., and at 2:06 and 3:06 P.M.
Eastern U.S. time, most stations chose not to pick this up, filling the time
vacated by the passing of Paul Harvey with news, information or talk programs.
This arrangement worked out well for Gil Gross, who does a afternoon show on
KGO-AM in San Francisco, and Doug Limerick, who continues to do regular radio
newscasts for ABC.

Do you have any "official" confirmation of this that I can use on Wikipedia? I hate having the Gil Gross and Paul Harvey articles just sitting there without being updated. I got reverted when I tried because the source was a blog. A pretty official-looking blog, if you ask me. It was good enough for the Mike Huckabee article.

At least Doug's article had an official-looking article as a source.
