Doug MacGunnigle is appointed Program Director for News/Talk WPRO-AM & FM/Providence, RI and sister News/Talk WPRV (AM 790). He previously was Assistant Program Director for WPRO, a post he's held since October, 2017. Before that, MacGunnigle was a producer and Digital Content Director. He started at WPRO in 2002 as a weekend board-op, taking on production and on-air duties on Hot 106 and 92 PRO FM. MacGunnigle returned to WPRO in May, 2015 and has served as producer of the "Matt Allen Show" and Digital Content Director for the station's digital assets.

Cumulus has announced that Doug MacGunnigle is moving from Assistant PD to PD of WPRO.
