;D Have any of you heard this show yet? This show (supposed to) come on LIVE weekdays and weekends 1am-5am Eastern Time. This show is one of the best (Besides "Warren Ballentine Show"-Superadio.com) this show is one of the best talk shows like I never heard in my life. I love it. Some of the callers have dumb topics, other than that, this show is one of the best.
I did notice that this show repeats (Not live) Saturday (Early morning 1am-5am Eastern Time) They put a best of show, they sometimes do this (early) Friday morning as well, sometimes, not all the time on early Friday.
For such a great show, why not put that show on LIVE EVERY night. There is a different hos early Sunday mornings (Forgive me for not knowing his name) Our affilate station in Boston WRKO has PSA programs on early Sunday mornings at that time. Why not put this host on both early Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings (LIVE)?
Orther than thhose few things.
This is one of the best talk shows.
Please tell us your thoughts?
 
:-\ I also noticed that sometimes Doug gets bothered by the caller if they talk over him.
That would annoy me too.
But as i just said, some callers do have some dumb topics, or like to cause trouble and put down all the presidents.
I like this show, because, most times, this is one of the only talk show that doesn't put down the president.
Mostly all talk shows always put down every president.
I like Red Eye because it is open topic.
Other than those few things, his show is great

Mostly I listen to Batchelor on WABC until i fade off. If I wake up and get McIntyre's show, he is so compelling that I never get back to sleep.
Great host, great show.
 
yeah yeah, I also like Batchelor, his show is great, also good stuff, good stuff!!!!!. He's on a different station here in Boston.

Yep i too agree with you , his show is one of the best shows on the radio along with the Savage Nation. Doug discusses a wide range of topics from politics to literature to music and sports etc etc. He lets the callers talk which also has its downside as some callers just seem to be slow and Doug being the nice guy would let them talk non stop.

I mean, don't get me wrong. Yeah, I'd like to know what's going on in the world. I do listen to some local and national Radio Talk shows, most of whom (Except for Warren Ballentine), most of them always put down (most) Presidents. That gets kind of boring after a while.

There are other topics out there, Fashion, crime, sports, entertainment!! Talk about something else, talk about Soap Operas if you have to. That's why I like "Red Eye Radio" because it's many different topics. I wish it was (LIVE) EVERY NIGHT.
But, I guess when you look at the bright side, everyone deserve a day to themselves.
When it's (not live) (Early Saturday mornings) , they shoud put a Voiceover stating something like "You're Listenning to the Best of....No Calls Please!!!, Thank you for listenning"

Forgive me for not knowing her name, she filled in for Bob Brinker (Money Talks) Her last names is Jermeniz, or something like that? Forgive me for not knowing her name. I think she should fill in for him, or be the (Early) Saturday morning host. She sounds HOTTTT!!!!
Both "Money Talks" and "Red Eye Radio" is both from Citadel Media Networks, so why not?

Anyone else have more thoughts?
 
I found out her name that fill in for Bob Brinker
Her name is Lynn Jimenez.
Since "Bob Brinker show is also with Cumulus Media Network (Formerly ABC Radio Network) since their show and Red Eye Radio is both with Cumulus Radio Network, instead of having a best of, show early Saturday mornings and (sometimes early Friday mornings) Red Eye Radio should have both Mark Germaine and Lynn Jimenez fill in or one take early Friday mornings, while the other takes both Saturday and Sunday mornings.
That way
Red Eye Radio will be LIVE, EVERYDAY/NIGHT!!!! ;D ;D :) :)
Lynn Jimenez sounds so niiiiiceeeee!!!! They should consider her.

Sorry, didnt mean to hurt you, you got stuck on one insignificant topic, besides no other national radio host works 7 days they all do 5 shows a week, so calm down LAUROJRM, we all love love Doug McIntyre ! :D
 
I think that's more of an indictment on the whole "Free FM" thing, and not so much, John & Jeff. Then again, they didn't find new outlets in those markets since then, did they?
 
Oh My, Doug was so bad at one point this morning (Wednesday) around 3am hour (Eastern Time) I thought he was going to kill himself. I'm assuming his face must have been DARK PURPLE/ALMOST BLACK!!!!!
That's how LOUD AND MAD he sounded because one of the callers
At the same time, later on, when you think back, he did sound funny

But in all seriousness, he needs to take a deep breath and relax. Don't always yell at the caller if they talk over you. Be more nice and respectful to the caller.

If he keep yelling like that, and getting mad so easy like that over nothing. It makes you not want to listen. Just that 7% is bad


Other than that, my thought is, 94% of the show is great!!!
 
KGO in SF that just fired 40 year late night veteran Ray Talefero is going to use McIntyre. Looks like local radio is going the way of the horse and buggy.

From what I have heard of Red Eye Radio, which was about an hour a nigh for the first two weeks after it started on WABC, I don't remember him yelling at callers. Maybe it was a fluke? Or maybe someone who listens more can confirm that he does do this more often?

Either way, sometimes yelling at callers is entertaining. More often than not, they deserve it as well. Lord knows that we've all done it, even a usually even tempered guy like myself.

Oh well
I was typing fast in a hurry because I have no computer at home and was on my 10 minute break at work.
In Highschool and College I had "Special Ed" Math Class. In college I barely bassed with a 2.9, in highschool I always got a C-
:(
