I don't have the timeslot breakdowns, but would WTKK really want to be modeling themselves after a station that has the same ratings and lower cume? With Stern's departure from FM radio, the era of radio stations driven by a single host/timeslot seems to be largely over. Doug Meehan might be new to talk radio, but it seems like he should be drawing a younger audience than Carr, at a much lower price.

either that or they flip 96.9 to top40..kiss has the game to themselves. get half the ratings and you are at a 5 share.

Even knowing Greater Media's format background, it's hard to see them ignoring WXKS' ratings for too much longer. Perhaps CHR with more of an adult lean for 96.9?
