Doug on 'HJY

Just heard Doug Palmarie (spelling?) on the air today filling in for Paul and Al - damn, I had almost forgot what a good jock he is. I know he is the PD over there - but they should really use his on-air talent more.

If I ran HJY - my lineup would be

Mornings - Doug and Bragiforte morning show (I would move Paul and Al to B101 - the bits and humor don't fit the demographic of HJY anymore - IMO). I think Doug and Mike are well known and for some reason, I think they would work together well.

Afternoons - Jenn (she's good - nothing special - but good for mid-days).

Drive home - Quinn and Cantera - They do have a great night show - but they would have a better audience at drive-time.

Nights: Charles with the Troll and someone who can "run" the show and keep it somewhat on track. I think Doug is actually the closest they got to Laurentie - but I have Doug doing mornings!

Just rambling on - thoughts?

Doug is the Production Director for the cluster(think that's what you ment)..

Scott Laudauni is the Program Director.

when their night guy is off.

He's never filled in on B101..I have heard him on HJJ though.

Yes he has although probably only recently when TSJ does Amy's show and there's no one to do nights.
