Doug White

We just found out that Doug White is on sick leave from
Channel 10 because of cancer treatment.
We hope and pray that Doug will conquer this illness and
return to his desk at TV 10 very soon.
We've come to consider Doug as a member of our family because
of his long stretch at 10 and his wonderful personality. AND,
of course, HIS HAIR!!!
Doug, GOD BLESS YOU and may you be back very, very soon.

3 years ago I know White was having a problem with 'the bottle'. Frankly, I don`t know which would be worse!! Good luck to him.

Wow ... you are just airing everyone's dirty laundry on this board.

Why do you feel the need to do that?
 
I cannot believe that the site administrator hasn't called you out on that libelous charge. Not only is your charge about Doug White false, but it unfairly maligns his character.

I have to 'but' in on this one.
2 or more years ago, White and the drinking 'thing' was a topic on one of the local talk shows(guess who?) It was well known. I know a wonderfull person who has worked at 10 for years. Says poor Patrice had her hands full with tring to 'manage' White and do the news. There are alot of things that have happened at 10 . I just think I will keep quite for now...

No, it's not the people's right to know about public figures. Doug White is not an elected official, he's a newsman. You better have some evidence of that being true.

As for evidence, why was this subject a topic on HJJ a couple of years ago??
