Downloading Ticket Podcasts to My iPod?

Does the iPod have Internet access when on the road? If so,there's an app called "tune-in radio" that has virtually all radio stations worldwide, and it has podcasts for each show (usually up to 6 weeks worth) saved and ready for you to just hit play.

I can't listen to Dan Patrick live, I listen to the podcast the next day in the car.

In fact, other than 100.3 HD2, BaD and Russ, Tune-in is what I listen to.

The free app has a couple of short commercials every now and then, the pay version (was $1.99 when I got it 12 months ago), cuts all the spots from the programs.

Another cool thing about the app is that if you're listening to a station live, instead of a podcast, you get the local air feed for the market of whatever station you're listening to... Being a Steeler fan in Dallas, I love that I can plug in my headphones and listen to the game for free!

Hope that helps!

Oh, and if you don't have Internet access to access the streaming podcasts, it has a record feature that will allow you to save up as much as you iPod can hold and play back without 3G.

You just go in and tell it what station and what time to start and stop recording...

That way, it'll do all the work for you until you depart.

I should get paid for that endorsement I just gave them!
