Downtown Dothan!

I am curious as to see if there has been any improvement with Downtown Dothan? I remember five to six years ago when the late FREAK and I along with a 97X van full of idiots used to go up and raise hell all night long. Foster Street rocked with Moontimes, Grand Central Central, the Beach and around the corner you had Stray Cats. Then on St. Andrews you rocked with Rev's Place and Club Darkside. We would all stay all night on a Saturday night and not return to Panama City until Sunday morning sometimes. Right before the end of my run at 97X, it was dismal. The kids (Stroke & Shortbus) would wind up at Cowboy's as it was the only "safe" place to go to. I miss those times we all had in Downtown Dothan. I think when Rev went away is when Downtown Dothan started dying off. If anyone can help me out with this I would appreciate it.

10 years ago, there was Boomer's and Grand Central. That was it.

And nobody went to Cowboy's then.
 
Thanks for the 411 Stewy and omglol! That is a shame! I mean there were so many people downtown, there were "FOOD" vendors on every corner! I understand even the only bikini bar is TABOO. I guess when I return to my old home, I wil lhave to pack up Junior and Bus and take them to the "POP A TOP".
