doyle in Savage slot

Are they running Doyle tape delayed now? Also what is taking his old time slot at noon, more paid programming?

Like I said in the other thread, it's getting bad...

For Beasley. 50 kW to nowhere... If 790 had a local morning show, news and traffic, that 1 kW would give 50 kW a run for its money.

I listened at noon today. They had a syndicated show on with a guest host. He never said who he was filling in for but said it was talk radio network. So it sounded like it was the former Michael Savage show...but I always thought that started live at 2PM not Noon.

I noticed KDWN moved up 6+ today 1.1-1.5. Still poor yet one of their highest shares in recent memory. I wonder where that growth came from? My guess is it was Savage. I noticed whenever a station makes a change, personality or format, they will always get a ratings surge after the change was made, it's like a curse (not that KDWN had any control over Savage leaving TRN).

OK I finally figued it out. TRN, not just KDWN, moved Doyle from middays to afternoons.

I wonder if KDWN will pick up Michael Savage when he eventually returns to radio on a different network?

Savage tells a San Francisco newspaper he will be back on the radio in 2 weeks, but would not say what syndicators he is in negotiations with.

Rusty Humphreys 12 to 3. Jerry Doyle 3 to 6.

Ok... Now who will pick up Savage? Its all up in the air now. We know it won't be KDWN.

Note to Ed Stolz. PICK UP SAVAGE ASAP!!! It might be pricy, but it will pay off.

You're forgetting the major negative KBET has going for it. Ed Stolz
