Dr. Boogie has heart attack

Please keep Jack Stahl of Oldies 1160 in your thoughts and prayers as he recovers from surgery following a heart attack he suffered yesterday while doing his show at WDJO. Jack is at Christ Hospital and I understand that the doctor performed successful bypass surgery and says Jack will be good as new.

Just talked to Jack and he sounded very upbeat and positive. I think he hopes to be back on air in maybe 2 weeks or so.

Great to hear that he's doing well and will be back soon. With all due respect to Dusty, for me Jack Stahl is the number one oldies jock in Cincinnati.

Word to the wise, Jack told me that his doctor said that he was smart to go immediately to the hospital and not wait and "see if i feel better after I lay down a bit." He had ZERO chest pains...but profuse sweating. His doc told him that if he had ignored the problem and gone home to bed, that he might never wake up again.
