Dr. Laura returned to the airwaves in Hartford, Connecticut on Monday after a 17 Month absence. Radio station WXCT 990 AM flipped back to news/talk Monday after running Spanish Progrmaming for the past 17 months. Once again WXCT is carrying her live 3PM-5PM.

Dr. Laura is also now on WFTL, 850am. Station is licensed to West Palm Beach, but studios are in Fort Lauderdale (in the Miami market.) With the 50kw signal, Miami has no problem hearing her.

...and the one and only Scott Fybush reports in this week's NERW that the talk format means the return of operations manager Charlie Profit to WXCT.

Rumor has it that Mr. Profit may be a moderator on, well, this very message board site, maybe even on this very board. ;)

(Any other R-I regulars wanna join in this news item? :D)
