Dr. Laura Brodian to appear on KMZT

Oyyyyy....is Saul Levine's KMZT studios going to be big enough for her ego?

And what's with the "Dr." before her name? In my opinion, unless someone is a medical doctor, the use of the designation of "Dr." is all out of ego. Perhaps her doctorate is in egoology?

Her personal website is a big mess.....along with an earthlink.net e-mail address.... Laura Brodian Freas

Saul Levine says that she is being put in the spot to directly compete with KUSC's afternoon programming.

An AM station competing with an FM station, especially for broadcasting classical music, is like comparing a used toothpick with a banana. And how much competition can it be with the FM signal being on a subsidiary HD channel?

Whatever....it is his radio station and money....

I may not always agree with how he does things either, but I like the fact that he is a broadcast competitor and he is still in there competing with whatever assets he has. I like the fact that at his age he still wants to compete at all. It is good for radio overall, but it is probably good for him as an individual as well.

Yup, hes old and a bit eccentric enough and has hung in long enough, he can do whatever he wants... literalyl and figuratively.. he can probably afford to do WHATEVER he wants.
