Dr. Laura - Friday's show 9/12

Hi folks,

I just wish to poll the masses of those who carried Dr. Laura. Although I have the show on tape I want to find out if others heard what I did.

In the first hour (I can't remember which segment) I want to know if Dr. Laura DID in fact drop an S - Bomb on the air. I had my delay on and when i thought I heard it. I dumpped it.

To save me the trouble of going back and listening to an hour of a show to CMA.
I was wondering if anyone else heard it. (We tape delay the show)

This will save us from having to preview segments before air.

I know it does occasionally happen but it's even more rare.

When you say "S - bomb", do you mean "Sarah"?

I don't know if it's against FCC regs yet, but I'm sure sick of hearing about her.

So I guess it's good you dumped for precautionary reasons.

I don't have a problem with the mentioning of Sarah Palin. I wish I was being paid a nickle for every time her name was mentioned. I could always use more PTO days.

The "S-bomb" I was referring to was the word "S-it".

Being in a heavily conservative station in a moderately conservative part of the country.
I could see Uncle Charlie banging on our door to give us a $300,000+ fine.

We are a new station with alot of experience in the staff. It wouldn't be the first station that I have worked at that has received a fine. But I'll be damned if I'm going to find out first hand on my watch.

I expected to hear the "S-bomb" on Alan Colmes' show before Dr. Laura's.
 
Dr. Laura is a shrewish harpy and should have been off the air long ago. She presumes to tell others how to live their lives and yet he own mother (some years ago) was found lying dead in her LA area residence having been deceased for several days before it was discovered. Not a person I'm going to listen to for life guidance.
