Dr. Laura Gets A Tattoo

"Anybody remember when tattoos were for bad-asses, huh? What happened there? Everybody's got one now. Is there anything more unsettling than a quintet of dolphins jumping over a rainbow nestled in the heaving cleavage of your grandmother's Zaftig homecare provider?" - Dennis Miller

Or some size 5x type with itty bitty feets and a butterfly on the ankle that hangs over the heel of her shoe.

If she into her Jewish faith, then it is a no-no in their religion. I cannot stand Dr. Laura being such a hypocrite on this. This tattoo adds on to the list of Dr. Laura's hypocrite view.

Here in my new Iowa home it would be your grandma with the jumping dolphins. Everyone here from 18 to 80 is inked. And Dr. Laura is on the radio locally, wonder what they'll do when she retires?

I wondered about that too. According to Handel she was non-religious when he first knew her then she had an epiphany and got super religious. I guess that is over now too.

This woman is a mental train wreck, with the audacity to actually think she's fooling half-way intelligent people!

A tattoo? Really? Educated, lucky-to-be-where-she-is, white trash!

Our world is upside down...I swear!

She's more mentally ill then the rejects who call her for advice...Sad, really sad!

You are correct about this on all counts. I am not religious at all but unlike Dr Laura I appreciate and obey the Jewish prohibition of tattoos.

For me it isn't religion unless being a total wuss is a religion. I don't like needles or pain and the same goes for piercings. :D

So Dr. Laura gets a tattoo.

Stay tuned for her announcement that she's running for President on the GOP ticket in 2012. ;D

The way I see it is I'm more of an original and free spirit by not having a tattoo. Tats are about as mainstream and blase as Cheerios.

There are a number of symbolic meanings of skulls in tattooing, the most common being death and mortality. Others include power or protection. We all know that ink provides those things.

It is. She's been pretty public about giving up on the Orthodox Judaism thing.

And that's a pretty big tattoo for a beginner. Pretty well done too, even if it has the two most hack things in the tattoo world.

She's still a damaged woman.

I passed this thread up a few times because I want to say "who cares?" Guess you know I'm not a fan of hers.

When things like this make the news it makes me wonder why???? She can get ten tattoos for all I care. I'd prefer one that closes her mouth but I don't think there is that kind.
