Dr. Laura going to satellite

Sadly, I didn't save the link or the text of the article, which I had saved in a notepad. I was about to send this and other stuff to myself when I discovered the Mailer Daemon had rejected the other email I sent myself. I was distracted and never got around to sending the email.

When I'm at home I limit myself to a few trusted sites.

Our local affiliate dumped her a couple of days ago.
I guess they did not want to provide her with a month of their
airtime to promote Sirius XM.

If Sirius/XM can get Howard to stay, he and Dr. Laura can stage one of the greatest on-air feuds ever.
And they can both take shots at the FCC.

By the way, what is Dr. Laura doing on the news/talk board. She doesn't talk about news (Howard does but not she).

This is as close as you get to a board for Dr. Laura. She airs on a number of traditional news/talk stations (well, at least she will until 12/31), and "Hot Talk" is not really a place for her, either.

Yikes! That put me in mind of the short-lived XFL broadcasts where every week Jesse "Governor The Body"
Ventura would be told to pick a fake fight with the coach of the Chicago team.

(yes I did watch the XFL....did not have cable at the time, and I am not much into hoops at that
time of year)

...or at least "Hot Talk" isn't the place since the demise of The Tom Leykis Show. Schlessinger was the perfect punching bag for Tom (use whichever definition of "bag" you want here). About the only positive thing Tom had to say about her was that she made damned good pizza, which she used to bring to KFI and share with the staff when they both worked there 20 years back...
