She's probably having some cash flow issues at this point. Desperate people do desperate things...like apologize. She simply had no idea that the American people were so concerned about it. After all, it is just an incurable, hemorrhagic disease, but she is a doctor who knows so much more, and now...blah blah blah.

I would forgive her if she were my friend, neighbor, relative, or colleague.
It's not incurable. You just have to catch it early and it's pretty difficult to treat.
