With KRLD seeming to break away from all-news and add some conservative talk programming in certain day parts, it got me thinking of non-political talk back in the early 2000’s.

Does anyone remember the sex talk show with Dr. Natasha back in the early 2000’s (?). I remember 1200 WOAI in San Antonio carried it, as it was syndicated by Premiere Radio Networks. I’m just curious if any stations in DFW carried the program.

It was pretty educational and I remember they gave away sex toys and also had bumper music with women moaning in the background. It was kind of similar to Talk Sex with Sue Johanson that was on Oxygen.

It doesn’t seem that there’s much info on this show if you do a Google search.

Dr. Natasha Terry was originally based in Cleveland at WTAM prior to being syndicated. I cannot remember how long WTAM carried the show as they also featured both Indians and Cavaliers games on the weekends. She was IIRC a project of Kevin Metheny, then the OM for Clear Channel's Cleveland cluster. This interview with her from the Cincinnati CityBeat in 2004 said at the time she split time residing in Texas and Southern California (presumably she did the WTAM show via ISDN?).

Prior to getting her own show, Dr. Terry was a frequent guest at varied radio stations; KSJO in San Jose was fined $14,000 after one 2000 appearance.

Oh, and she also had a brief relationship with Mick Jagger and told about it.
