Dr. Neil Frank?

I grew up in Houston but no longer live in the tv viewing area. I am however able to listen to Houston radio stations and a few minutes ago Mark & Rich on 610am mentioned Dr. Neil Frank getting yanked off of the air last night but didn't go into detail. Was he just wanting to stay on longer to cover the cold weather and they went to programming or is there something else to the story?

I don't know, I was watching 11 last night during the six pm (I think) newscast and he completed it successfully.

He did get cut off by the closing belo credit last night, He was about to recap any of the safety precautions that people could take and I guess someone hit a button too soon or wasnt paying attention.

I live in Dallas, but travel to Houston ever so often. I think Dr. Neil Frank is absolutely horrible at giving the weather..........

I think Tim Heller does a great job. He used to be on Fox 4 new here in Big D.

I own a copy of USA Today's Weather Book by (who else?) Jack Williams and in it there is an extensive interview with Neil Frank about his hurricane forecasting days. Quite an interesting read, although the book was published in 1992.
