So, you paid too much fer it, and now, it ain't making the money that you thought/projected(?). Hmmmmmmmmmmmmm,...let me see???? OK, you can't run it, without at least two, poorly paid, overworked, scared, employees. Hmmmmmmmmmmm,...let me see???? OK, fire them all, but two, spare the Engineer, and any sales weenie, not on straight commission, yeah...ankle them too! How much does the temp service charge for a receptionist? How much would the scrap yard give us for that old van?
A good run of short list moves, but Hmmmmmmmmmm we need a cure-all that's gonna net us some very quick cash Hmmmmmmmmmmmm??????
How 'bout the Las Vegas slot machine, one-time gamble? Odds maker, Scooter Lesley feels that it may not be exactly what we want, but at least no more money will be wasted. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm???
Step #1: Have the Engineer go to the transmitter site, and pull the main transmitter breaker down, in the off position. At this time, no more electricity will be used, and that is a good start: A dark, off the air, holding
pattern. Note: Leave the tower lights on.
Step #2: List the station for sale on Craig's list for 12X times what it billed last month.
Step #3: Accept the first offer, and you should have your cash in less than a week.
Step#4: After the sale, take $4.95 and go to Pete's #6 the next morning for breakfast...a couple of hen fruit, bacon, and one of those pancakes that's the size of a manhole cover, and find a peace in knowing that it is now in the hands of those who...CAN!
