Draft Coverage

Not even close, Clear Channel's draft coverage on 940 was superior to QAM's. Why does QAM have Anita Marks on that show? She did nothing but discuss Jerry Hughes for two hours and has no NFL insight. Then you have Orlando who immediately after the Dolphins drafted, starts spewing negativity about the pick. Joe Zagacki (who was the only sane voice) telling Orlando, let's try to be a bit more positive for the fans. It was like listening to amatuer hour. Joe Bell may have considered that when he lost the Dolphins, he opened the door to a new sports competitor in the market that did not exist before. Now, you take a small pie and divide by three instead of two.

Additionally, this clown Curtis in the middle of the day sounds like you are listening to a teenager that has no place holding a radio show in a major market. I used to think 790 was a joke by using Zaslow to host a show. This is worse. Two kids go from answering phones to hosting their own shows in a Top 15 market. It's a joke. We couldn't get any better?

Nobody listens to draft coverage on the radio. Numbers are minuscule. For what it's worth I heard some as I went out for a quick bite. I couldn't disagree with you more. Alzugaray at least knows about the guys on the board and I enjoyed the back & forth between he & Zagacki. I thought 940's coverage was a total snoozefest & lovefest.
