DRC-FM: No RDS, no HD

WDRC-FM's owners, the Buckleys, are rolling in cash these days, after selling WOR NYC to Clear Channel. Not that they'll put that money into improvements at WDRC-FM.

According to Wikipedia, WDRC-FM is one of the earliest FM stations in the country, going on the same year as General Electric's WGY-FM Schenectady, 1939. I wonder if some of that original equipment is still at WDRC-FM.

LOL! :D Ya know... you may be onto something! ;)

RDS? That's on thing, but HD? For the handful of people listening if I were them I'd save the electricity and royalty payment and just skip it.

I'm getting a flashing "hd" on my radio for DRC-FM, but no lock. I did notice, however, that WRCH's HD is off today, and that WMRQ's HD4 is missing.
