Dream Cruise Could Be Nightmare For Clear Channel's WDTW

For years, WOMC (104.3) as well as WXYZ-TV have been the "official" broadcast outlets of the annual Woodward Dream Cruise, which this year takes place on August 20.

That's not going to stop Clear Channel's progressive talker WDTW (1310 AM) from broadcasting live from the event.

By the way, the Free Press refers to WDTW as "tiny" and "small-fry"... are they aware of the station's current owner?

Update: Looks like the outlet which WDTW would have used for broadcasting live from the Dream Cruise is being asked to shut down... The outlet is the website DreamCruiseLive.com. They're given until tomorrow to comply, or the Dream Cruise's legal eagles will exercise "full legal options".

Needless to say, this certainly isn't smooth sailing for the WDTW/"Dream Cruise Live" folks.
