DREAM-DIAL: ATLANTA (cuz what else is there to ramble about)?

Haven't presented a "Dream-Dial" for Atlanta for a while. With the new July PPM's and some of the tweaks being made here and there...I thought it was time.

These pretty much only cover most of the full-power FM's (if I even got all those in)
And...I didn't take too much in account of ownership either....(it's just for fun and sharing ideas) But...feel free to add in the LP-stations or discuss, comment and change up slogans, etc....just PLEASE...(for a change)...NO HATIN'! Thanks.

92.9 WZCG (Modern Rock) "Everything Alternative" 92-9 Channel-Z (a bit old skool sounding) But, feel free to change up any slogan.

94.1 WSTR (Hot-AC) (doing well)

94.9 WUBL (Country) (sounds fine to me)

95.5 WSBB (News Talk) (doing well)

96.1 WWVA (CHR/Rhythmic) "WiLD 96.1....Atlanta's ONLY Hit Music Channel" (OR this one could just be a HOTTER sounding full, Clear Channel, CHR). (Not bad the way it is tho...just move "WiLD" to THIS FREQUENCY)!!

97.1 WSRV (PURE Classic Rock)!! (A little more edge to it)

98.5 WSB-FM (Adult Contemporary) (keep it 80's friendly...but add stuff like, Gaga's "Edge Of Glory" and other currents like "106.7 Lite-FM" does in NYC)

99.7 WWWQ (Adult-CHR)....(hey if it's working for them......fine.......let 'em keep the same reserved CHR format...I don't even care anymore)!

100.5 WNNX (Classic Hits)...(the softer side that The River is/was) ...(AND CHANGE THOSE CALLS ALREADY)

101.5 WKHX (Country) (sounds fine to me)

102.3 (El Patron)

103.3 WVEE (Urban Contemporary) (doing well)

104.1 WALR (Urban Adult) (keep improving with slightly more upbeat stuff)

104.7 WFSH (Christian Contemporary) (sounds fine to me)

105.7 WKLS (Active Rock) ....(perhaps)...."ROCK 105-7" or "Project 105-7"?? (This could work here....cuz it has a decent signal near the Lake, Buford, Gainesville) I know a LOT of people in that area, 20's/30's that still love "Project".

106.7 WYAY - (Oldies) (sounds fine to me)

107.9 WHTA (Urban Contemporary) (sounds fine to me)

You're going to have to get Mr. Millman's permission before suggesting changes at 92.9.

.....hehe...well, tell Mr. Millman that he's most likely WAY better at this stuff than me...(lol).
(just sharing the ideas for fun and discussion)  ;)

There's been too much going on for anyone to think of a dream dial lately. Most people were probably so subconsciously preoccupied with the hopes of their wishes coming true during all this radio station format shake up that has taken place recently that they forgot about the "Dream Dial" thing! It's kind of like when you're going on vacation; WHILE you're on the trip (or preparing for the trip), you don't start dreaming about a dream trip! Same with radio-info. When stations are flipping up because one station decided to flip up and forced other stations to start trying to be the best they could be all the time ;D, no one is thinking of a "dream flip" any longer because the possibility of the dream has now become reality. In other words,

THE DREAM IS REAL, FOLKS!

But this would be my dream dial. To conserve time, I just may skip a few signals and only put in the ones I want (meaning whatever I left out could just stay the same.

96.1 - WWVA WiLD (or WiLD 94.9)

107.5 - CLUB 107.5 .. Heavy Dance leaning Rhythmic, or just dance, period. (I'd rather keep 107.5 and take 104.1 for that format, but I realized that 104.1 seems to get better ratings, so... I figure if I must take away the r&b station I like most out of the two, then I might as well dream it up to be something else I like.

...Or we could just put the dance on one of the college stations... ey? ey??

What else? .... um....

Another full signal to compete with B98.5 with a more modern ac format,

OH, and 107.9 could become pop en espanol and play Mana, Julietta Venegas, Don Omar, Chino y Nato, Aventura...etc. and also simulcast on 102.5 and 99.7. .. JUST KIDDING!

That's about all for now.

Wow - I gotta say this would be great...

Only change I'd make to that is to make 100.5 Modern AC/Alternative (similar to KLCK/Seattle, KUCD/Honolulu, or 96X/Norfolk) - problem is only small companies have tried this format so far, and I doubt Cumulus would go out on a limb like that :-\

Anyhow, we already have two Classic Hits/Rock stations, and we really don't need three (as you can tell by the ratings)
