Dream Station

And how many of Jenny's (I am still confused on whether to use he or she, here, Jenny...) and Stewy's
songs actually ever played on PFM??? Wait a second, are we doing this as an AC station or 80's to now,
or what? Stewy, you know times have changed when out of all your PC bound standard operating procedures,
peeing at the McDonald's is the only viable option. I don't think Spring Breakers are packing as much beer
these days...they act so o-l-d and sophisticated. ::) I have parked my list with Charlie, maybe Redneck
and Brian Holmes can post their fav 'real beach style PFM songs' and see if anyone agrees on playing
anything twice...

I am She, sweetie. Big Woo identifies himself when he signs on under my ID.
I am looking at a re-creation of PFM as the ultimate CHR/Top 40 station with mx from 60s-80s. I am still thinking mainly block programming that fits the jocks' personalities.
Remember, my dream is to bring in old jocks, talent between gigs and those of us with other gigs who want to play. Can't you just imagine the ad in R&R - "On Vacation in Florida's Great Northwest? Between Panama City Beach and Pensacola are the World's Most Beautiful Beaches and the most fun you'll ever have on the air. Come for the beaches and WJEN - your chance to play on a 100,000 watt FM.
Partner shows and solos available, format up to you. Come play- Radio the way it USED to be!"
I am sure I'll be out-voted and PFM will win but right now it is my R&R ad and it is WJEN ;D

That's why we need multiple sticks--a "Dream Cluster" instead of a "Dream Station." My own preferences lean toward new music... and I'd wager a dollar that Charlie's tastes may be very eclectic--but he wants it all to sound REAL good! BH has done everything--it would be interesting to hear what he'd want to play just for his own amusement. Then again, Ms. Woo's WJEN definitely sounds like the ultimate "VARIETY" station!

RNR ---

It's not gonna matter how many sticks the others had/have. We've got CCENG and he'll maximize our sound. If you recall
the episode of signal espionage a while back (which we never heard the FCC outcome on, did we?) we'll
control the market.:) We'll be needing at least 18 stations. Boy, will the beer commercials be really cheap
on all of them.

WJEN sounds like a cute concept. 'Playing what SHE want's --- JENN FM'... the possibilies are endless. Does that
sound original???? hehehe.

But, you guys are all right --- there's got to be a WPFM for good karma.

RNR you know what I'd call my station, but would you have to be Southern Rock and Country (and of course New Rock)
on your's and call it Bubba 98.5? Red 92? 94.5 The Neck? Hell Yeah 106? Just as long as "The Dawg" ain't one of the choices. lol.

Hey, although this thread is definitely Radio Fantasy League material, I think ya got sumpin' for Real Life with "Neck 98" or "Hell Yeah 106." You can't tell me that a hundred killowatts of Southern Rock & Country with either one of those flips wouldn't kick ass & take names on the Redneck Riviera! Sh*t man, we gotta get us one of them sticks. Maybe when 98.1 goes up for auction...

98.1 would be appropriate for HELL YEAH 98. It could flip from HALE NO 98. Auction $$$ is in the bank.
When's it going down? Would sound pretty good throwin' some Hatchett in with Alan Jackson. But, I gotta say an occassional Billy Idol (Mony, Mony) in there with a little Pink Floyd would soothe the radio nerves by the beach with mega-beers. Of course
the flip would be preceeded by two weeks of stunting with AC/DC.

Flip during Spring Break 2008, RNR. ohhhhhHHHHHH! Dammit, me. :-X
