Driving around

I spent most of my Monday cruising around Yavapai then Maricopa counties listening to some Phoenix stuff. I don't usually receive listenable Phoenix signals at home. Observations:

Is 101.5 supposed to have mostly talk and then spot rock music? I expected this FM talk to be more news oriented.

KOOL-FM appeared the same - pretty good but still mostly the same oldies.

KTAR sounded a lot more like it did a few years back. More news emphasis and less chit chat fluff...

IMHOP 103.9 the Edge was playing some pretty good music while their signal seemed improved overall. They appeared proud of their independence.

I was suprised how well the 97.5 signal covers the area driven today.

1230 AM has a great 1 kilowatt signal from 2345 West Buckeye. (Old KRIZ Bldg.)
