Not necessarily true Mr./Ms. Nigma. I was at a bar in the flats a few months ago and they had a jukebox with CDs in it. If, as was the case here, most of the CDs are "Greatest Hits" compilations, then it's tough to find a lousy song to schedule. But, if they have, as was also the case here, just regular CDs by certain artists, the opportunities to annoy make themselves known. I found a Celine Dion CD with a song she did with the Bee Gees. I'd never heard it, so I scheduled it. Let's just say there was a reason I never heard it before. It wasn't far from typical Celine Dion fare, but it was very "blah". In fact one of the guys manning the counter started complaining about it, wondering how it got into the system.
In the old days, playing B-sides in the jukebox was one of my favorite things to do, just to watch the reactions. I now wish I would have done it more often.
