Drudge Report Copying the Barry Young Show!

My kid is doing a content analysis of local talk radio for his journalism class at ASU. He has found that Drudge listens to and copies the Barry Young Show.

Today Young covered stories about:

a Rassmussian poll
Obama bowing to foreign leaders
an ill attended Sandra Fluke ralley
people calling Panned Parenthood
etc.

These exact same stories were on the Drudge Report today.!!!

What is wrong with the Drudge not giving credit to Barry Young for his content?

If I was Young I would be mad at Drudge stealing my material.

Seems like some of that drudge dreck is MONTHS old. I wouldn't quantify that website as any kind of source for any kind of rhetoric.

Generally, a criticism without discussion regarding the means of improvement is insufficient. Using your analogy a customer wouldn't just say "this steak is terrible", they would critique what is wrong with it. A real restaurant critic would even evaluate how it might be improved upon.

At the risk of advocating we raise the bar of discussion here, might I suggest that you contribute something a bit more substantive. Failing that suggestion, you could give us examples of a show/host that does a better job and why or even, as I referenced in an earlier post, demonstrate to us how it's done with your own show.

But they have Wine and Cheeseburger Fridays ;D And the studio audience...what makes you think that's fake? The Nurse and I don't hear much difference between the guffawing on TNBO's show and Chuck & Chick's over on KTweetAR.

I wonder when Barry will run for office.

I checked out the burger place and it does look great and I like local joints, but I did not see wine on the menu. If I'm ever in the area I will check it out. See Barry your advertising works even with a "critic"
