His show is actually quite good, when Barry Markson sits in or Michelle Larson is on vacation.

The problem we have with Markson is (like TNBO) he takes too damned long to set things up. It's kinda like some posters on this site who take forever to get to the point as they ramble on constantly about things that really don't pass the "who cares" test and bore you with things like 40 year old cars manufactured by a defunct company or some imaginary place on the far west side that grants degrees in a profession that has gone the way of a former morning mayor who once invited a bunch of geeks and geekettes to a backyard barbecue, only to revoke that invite simply because he wanted everyone to present their legal IDs at the entrance to a well known affluent suburb that doesn't like street lamps and thinks affordable housing is a home priced in the range of $750,000 and 2 million dollars which precludes most followers of the dimwits who run that imaginary place that grants useless sheepskins. Know what I mean?

Yeah, he can dither a bit (you want dithering, listen to the dreadful High Noon and Rudy K on KKNT, half their time is explaining their setup, backed with patriotic music), but Barry M, has a reasonable, moderate opinion that isn't the typical "here is the crap that the rabble wants to hear" spew that so many do. Barry Young is just phoning it in, the barest of bare show prep, no fact checking, not an ounce of passion, its like he is a mall cop that has done it for years.
Contrast to Broomhead, every show is a suck up to Arpaio or any police officer, he rarely takes calls from the non sychophantic bubba's out there. Every show is a big wet sloppy kiss to Arpaio and Babeau...bleah.
BTW, I hear that Pratt's BBQ is back on, but you need to submit a DNA sample one month ahead of time.
