Drudge: Stern Fights Back

J

Matt Drudge is reporting on his website Howard Stern's plans to fight the lawsuit slapped against him by CBS.

Although there's nothing in the article to suggest that Stern will counter-sue, it does include several quotes from Stern (I presume they from his Sirius radio show this morning, March 1st).

This comes in the wake of early Arbitrends indicating that many of Stern's former affiliates saw huge audience losses in the morning drive hours after his show moved to Sirius.

*That is a good point to make by Stern: why did CBS give him prime time on 60min's and 2 long segments and Letterman in order to promote Sirius?

STFU, Howard. You're old, boring, and no one cares anymore.

Another O & A fan! If that is what he is doing, he's a genius!! And if no one cares, why is this so huge and getting more attention than anything O & A has done lately?

Don't come on here and say nobody cares because Stern still has more listeners than many of his immitators COMBINED!

Get your facts straight upndownthedial!!!

Nope, not an O&A listener. Not even a subscriber. I'm in the biz. I've known Howie since Washington. My facts ARE straight. There's been no mass exodus to sign up for his crap. Yeah, I know he has a bunch of listeners. Some folks will buy ANYTHING. But ya know what? Even if you have a 10 share, that just means that 90% of the people DON'T listen.

Just a point of fact here (not opinion), but right now Opie And Anthony have far more listeners than Howard Stern. There's no disputing that.

show me a picture of the 4 listeners of theirs

Is there any measurment of Sirius and XM listening available that can tell us how many people are listening to what programming services these two companies provide??

I think there is but They don't make it available to the public as of yet.I would like to see that data also.

>> I highly doubt a higher percentage of XM's 6 million listeners tune into O&A than the percentage of Howard listeners on Sirius' 4 million subscribers.
Edited by AZJoe on 03/03/06 11:38 PM.

this is such a joke. he was given a gift at CBS to yap and yap and yap about everything that had nothing to do with his show, he was given a bigger gift by his master (Mel) and he keeps blabbing about these black helicopters circling that are out to get him (so to speak). While I don't think CBS has a leg to stand on here, I do believe Howard's lost his way, he needs to get back to what he did best, speak to guys who didn't get enough pu/ssy in their lives and put hookers, whores and strippers on the radio who's IQ is the equivalent of a plant.

BTW. It's amazing how well the stock has performed since he came onboard isn't it. I'll bet you Mel's people got their money out months ago (before the announcement about he or his bitch were made public)

That's why companies love mel, he brings money to the table fast and it get taken back at a profit even faster before the stock get destroyed, been short since November, lovin' every minute of it. Mel's easy to make money with, buy his rumor, short his news because doom and gloom are always left in his path.
