Drug test all broadcast employees

Just as people that work a airports, pilots, bus drivers, truck drivers, law enforcement, etc. etc. are drug tested on a random basis..all people working for broadcast businesses (Federal License) should be drug tested ...this will weed out the drug addicts and sickos like Limbo

Maybe you've heard what things were like at Saturday Night Live back in the day. You might end up weeding out Franken, too. You might weed out (pun intended) a lot of people and some of them might surprise you.People in broadcasting don't have guns (like those in law enforcement) and most don't have vehicles they can fly or drive into anyone. There's no public safety issue. I suspect the real issue here is you disagree with Rush and you don't like his program. Boo-hoo.

Yeah, really. Should I even bother to bring up the fact that the case has absolutely no evidence behind it? Or are we going to resort to childish squabbling over politics to avoid that fact, too?

I have been "in the biz" for about thirty years now.I have no problem with my company asking/telling me to submit to a drug test, if they so wish. The only time I have drug tested in the past thirty years was a couple of times while in the Army.

I don't mind being tested for drug use...as long as the owners and managers for whom I work are tested for having a soul; I find most have sold theirs to the Devil. :p

Those who sell their soul to work in radio are merely the devil's sub-contractors.People who sell their souls directly to the devil get wealth, power, fame and the beautiful women of their choice. And people who sell their soul to those people get sub-standard wages, abusive treatment and the lowest level of celebrity, and they have still sold their souls. Most likely in hell they will end up working for those same owners and managers who will receive preferred positions as the devil's agents.According to Dante, people in radio will go to the 8th Circle of The Inferno.

At least there is a good martini bar there. It could be worse.

Interesting. Start drug testing broadcast employees, they'll switch to booze. Not that radio doesn't already have a lot of juicers.
