DSM W-2 Trends

KKDM has really fallen off. After 'The Beat' flipped they shot up but have been on a steady decline... is Star taking this or is the genre just not generating as much listenership?

KGGO seems to be pretty steady atop DSM music stations (along with KIOA). Citidel has done a great job of turning things around after the butchering Wilks did.

Curious - does anyone know how local morning shows are fairing in the market?

Wish someone would put My 100 out to pasture...

Star's 12+ has been pretty consistent recently...doubt they are going there. Maybe IPOD? XM/SIRIUS??

KAZR which also has had younger listeners in the past is falling in 12+.

Well, it's easy to see why KISS and Lazer have taken such a dive.

KISS has, for the last year, been the 'second best left-over' of the BEAT. 20 and 30 somethings are more into IPOD and Satellite radio now. At least I and most of my friends are. Plus, when things get as repetitive as they often are on KISS, I can see the reason why.

KAZR has been skewing towards a more hybrid Rock/Classic Rock sound. It's not the cutting edge rock station it used to be. There's no better way to drive the core Rock fans away then hearing Def Leopard on a more consistent basis than Disturbed or Tool. I'm actually pretty amazed at how different Lazer sounds now.
