Dsnny Rea To Get Paul Sullivan Time Slot

Danny Rea all but announced tonight that WBZ will tap him to take Paul Sullivan's place...the day of Paul Sullivan's funeral by saying that he will be on "all next week."

Is he indicating that he will take Paul Sullivan's place?
 
How do we know Jordan Rich isn't otherwise occupied next week?
 
While I don't always agree with Dan Rea, I do respect him as a journalist and I have enjoyed him subbing for Sullivan. I also liked it when Jack Williams was subbing, too.
 
I likes Jack Williams a lot. He would make an excellent choice if he were able to stay on the TV News on 4 and do WBZ Talk as well.
Unless Jack is ready to give up his "day job" and I hope he will not I don't think he will go to radio. Still, I would listen to Jack Williams on a regular basis because he adds a new perspective to talk.
 
Why do you guys like these boring people? Besides I think they will wait a few months before announcing anything. No hurry.

Dan Rae, Jack Williams-Boring and old. Why don't they put Pat Desmarus in that slot? I heard him driving home tonight..he rocks the place. But his position on the Patriot's I DON'T AGREE WITH!
 
IMHO Desmaris is "weakend" material only.

Is anyone surprised that Chris Leydon hasn't been given at least a Fill-in or tryout shot at the gig?
 
So Danny's talking about which Rep's he wants to have on "before the NH primary."

If he's thinking that far down the road I assume he has the job but why not just say so?

Possibly because BZ doesn't want a permanent host as long as they have the Bruins playing three nights a week.
