DTV 62-11 Where is it?

I've been searching along Austin // San antonio for a DTV 62-11 channel. It is broadcasting Univision No calls or anything I can find.

62.11 is a simulcast of KAKW that is being transmitted on a subchannel of KTBC/7. It maps to 62.11 to be consistent with the other channels actually being broadcast on the KAKW RF13 transmitter. I discovered it on a trip to Austin a month ago; it had apparently just launched.

I believe the launch of 62.11 is tied in with expansion of ATSC 3.0 services in Austin, which involves displacing some channels to different transmitters in order to free up another transmitter for conversion to the new digital format.

Interesting. Does it have call letters? My TV does not show the transmitted channel only the channel that you see. I had a converter box that did that but no longer have it.

I guess legally it would be KTBC 62.11 Austin. But it is a straight simulcast of KAKW virtual channel 62/RF13. I don't remember what the PSIP had on the set I was watching, but usually in these cases it would have the program originator, KAKW. An example: Here in Houston KHOU is on virtual 11.1 (on RF11) but also simulcast on KTBU virtual 55/RF33. The KTBU simulcast of KHOU maps to 11.11 and shows up as "KHOU" on my TV's PSIP.

KTBC has six subchannels; 7.1 through 7.5, plus 62.11, all from the same transmitter.

After you posted that I was able to Google it and Wikipedia had it up as 7.6 (Viewer sees 62.11)
