DTV Channel Availability (Success) in Bloomington

Yes, I know...it's a radio board; but, we'll move past that. ;)

I am curious to know if anyone has had success in watching several DTV channels in the Bloomington area. I have not tried an outdoor antenna, yet (I don't want to try until I hear of other's success.). Before the analog shutoff date, I was (sometimes) able to get WTTV, along with WTIU and WCLJ, with an indoor antenna. Now, I can only get WTIU and WCLJ. From all the websites, it appears that my only solution is to install an outdoor antenna; however, I do not want to do this, if I will not be able to get several other stations (most if not all of the Indianapolis stations, along with Terre Haute), reliably. Therefore, I am interested to know how everyone's experiences have been with receiving DTV in Bloomington, with an outdoor antenna. Additionally, I would be interested to know how successful people have been with an outdoor antenna installed in attics, as any outdoor antenna I put up may have to go in my attic.

Thanks for your input, everyone!

DTV Reception ? Move out of Bloomington.

Someplace with a higher AMSL figure. Line of sight to most things is tough from there.

Pardon? 37 has a 900'+ elevation point on it within Bloomington. I'd love to have 900'...

Depends on where in Bloomington he is. I had problems getting about half the Indy FM and (analog) TV stations when I lived there years ago. I wouldn't think he'd have trouble with the stations that transmit from Trafalgar, however, and certainly not with Channel 30.
