DTV comes to eastern Arizona

The U of A has applied for a license and has fired up its DTV translator of KUAT on the Duncan AZ system, providing the first digital service in eastern Arizona. Station K20GG has flash cut and is now showing the entire KUAT lineup: PBS HD on 6.1, V-Me on 6.2 and Create on 6.3. The operators of the Duncan translators have moved some channels around; I'll have details on the July TV Update.

The signal is predicted to reach Duncan, Safford, Thatcher, Morenci, and parts of New Mexico.
