DTV Houston questions

When is Ch. 8 and Ch. 49 going to upgrade their digital signal?

Anyone know if they're gonna do this Feb. 17 or wait til closer to June. I know these are the most difficult of all the stations to receive.

Just curious, thx.

I noticed last week that KPXB's signal jumped from its quarter full bar that I've been accustomed to, to a bar well over half. All 4 channels come in flawlessly now in my N. Houston location. KUHT is still MIA.

Also noticed that KAZH-57 has went dark on digital. A new channel scan keeps 57 in the line-up, but no signal. 55 now has .3, but where is .2? Is KLTJ remaining at 22 until the 12th of June? There signal at 23 is hit and miss at best this far north.

Yea, it's kinda funny cause here around Clear Lake 49 is still MIA while Ch. 8 now comes in (horribly) and 22 has more than half strength.

Isn't digital something else? :D

Could something good be coming to 57?

I'm hoping .2 still plans on debuting in the Spring as well. THIS shows old movies, and I'm talking real old and not exactly what I was expecting.

49 will have to wait until June 12 to go to full power since they are moving to the frequency currently (temporarily) occupied by KTRK, and ABC is committed to June 12.
